Research overview
The Macknik Lab is engaged in several lines of work to understand the neural underpinnings of visual awareness and visibility. The laboratory is also engaged in a long-term collaboration led by the Martinez-Conde Lab to understand the role of fixational eye movements in perception. Several other previous collaborations have resulted in publications as well.
